Crystal Beach — located on the Peninsula of Galveston.
(Yes – you will cross the ferry — look out for dolphins)

From Houston

Take I-45 South to Galveston.  Continue straight down Broadway until you reach the beach.  Turn left to Ferry Road, (two stop lights).  Left again on Ferry Road to the landing.  It takes the free Ferry 13 minutes to travel across Galveston Bay to Boliver Peninsula.

When you get off the Ferry you are on Highway 87 continue about 14 miles east on Highway 87.  Pass Emerald Beach #1 subdivision, Pass the US Postal Office (on your right) and start looking out for the subdivision.  There will be a small green sign on your right.  Take a Right onto Emerald Beach #2 (a small green sign down low).  At the stop sign, stay right and veer onto Yucca.  Continue on this meandering road toward the water.  The last street will be Seaside.  Take a Right on Seaside --2016 Seaside (yellow house on the left with a green fence).

From Beaumont

Take I-10 west to Winnie, then head south on Highway 124 until you come to the beach road, Highway 87.  Turn right, go about 7 miles to the bridge at Rollover Fishing Pass in the community of Gilchrist.  After the bridge, it is approximately 5 miles to Emerald Beach #2 Subdivision.  Turn left into the subdivision.  At the stop sign, stay right and veer onto Yucca.  Continue on this meandering road toward the water.  The last street will be Seaside.  Take a Right on Seaside --2016 Seaside (yellow house on the left with a green fence).
